Flashabou is a fly tying material made of specially shaped synthetic polymers suitable for tying streamers. A typical feature of the properties is the changing high gloss. The fiber is smooth and changes its appearance when reflected by light. A very important property is the non-absorbency of the material, thanks to which the streamer does not gain weight from the absorption of liquid in this case water.

The fluorescent colors in the flashabou series are modified to reflect UV radiation and thus make the artificial fly more efficient.
